Sherwood

The Sherwood Police Department received the following reports last week:

Sunday, Jan. 24

- Someone in the 16000 block of Southwest Langer Drive reported that a bench was damaged.

Saturday, Jan. 23

- Someone in the 16000 block of First Street reported that someone had used a carport to work on a vehicle, leaving oil stains and extra parts behind.

Wednesday, Jan. 20

- Someone in the 17000 block of Southwest Cederview Way reported a vehicle break-in and the theft of $1,610 in property.

- Someone reported graffiti in the 15000 block of Southwest Willamette Street. Damage was estimated at $70.

Tuesday, Jan. 19

- Laurie Sewall, 58, of Tualatin, was arrested for telephonic harassment.

- Geralynn Matteson, 20, of Hillsboro, was arrested on charges of stalking and violating a protective order.

Monday, Jan. 18

- Someone reported graffiti near the intersection of Southwest Railroad Street and Southwest Washington Street. Damage was estimated at $50.

Tigard

The Tigard Police Department reported the following arrests Jan. 20 through Jan. 25:

Theft – 21; DUII – 2; criminal trespass – 1; restraining order violation – 1; reckless driving – 2; drug related – 4; menacing – 1; tampering with drug records – 1; warrants – 2; reckless endangering – 1; hit and run – 1; driving while suspended – 1; probation violation – 1; disorderly conduct – 2; assault – 2. Of these, nine resulted in juvenile arrests.

Monday, Jan. 25

- When a woman in the 10700 block of 69th Avenue came home she found her door open. Nothing appeared to be taken.

- The Meyer Sign Co., 15205 S.W. 74th Ave. began receiving harassing e-mails about a bid for a job in Seattle.

- Two separate voicemails were left at a home of a woman in the 10800 block of Canterbury Lane. The voice threatened the life of someone who did not live at the house.

Sunday, Jan. 24

- Someone drove their car into a mailbox and a tree in the 11460 block of Fonner Street. The car drove off, but left a piece of its bumper behind.

- An employee at an apartment complex in the 14640 block of 76th Avenue backed his vehicle into the parked car of another tenant. The employee got out of his car, looked at the dent the collision caused, then yelled at the tenant for parking her car where she did. The employee then got into his car and drove away.

- A woman in the 7700 block of Pfaffle Street asked to come over to her neighbor’s house. Once inside, the woman asked to borrow some of her neighbor’s pills, then left. The neighbor, convinced that the woman had stolen one of her pills, followed her. The woman denied taking pills and said that she had left the house because the neighbor was “not good company.”

- A woman running with her dog in the 9010 block of Pippen Lane was chased by a man who yelled at her and called her names.

Saturday, Jan. 23

- A man wearing one slipper was seen in front of Woodland Heights Assisted Living, 9355 S.W. McDonald St. The man stood at the front door making faces at himself in the mirror.

Friday, Jan. 22

- Someone at the Value Village Thrift Store, 12060 S.W. Main St., shot a BB gun in the store.

- A truck filled with garbage was left at the corner of Serena Court and Serena Way for several days. Neighbors asked the truck’s owner to move the vehicle, but the owner had not done so.

- The recycling bin of a woman in the 12090 block of Lincoln Avenue was stolen.

- A picnic table at Northview Park, 14250 S.W. Northview Drive, was stolen.

- A woman in the 10800 block of Hall Boulevard smelled what she described as a “skunk smell” but thought that it was the smell of marijuana. This was not the first time the woman had smelled it, she said. Police investigated and found no one smoking marijuana. Police determined that the smell could have come from an animal, such as a skunk.

Thursday, Jan. 21

- A shot was reported on the corner of Springwood Drive and 121st Avenue.
